Built for Ireland’s sectors
Dublin is one of Europe’s strongest SaaS, fintech and EU operations hubs — and Ireland’s life sciences cluster around Cork and Galway is among the EU’s most concentrated. Our Irish placements span Marketing VAs for Dublin SaaS, Senior Developers for Irish tech scale-ups, EVAs for fund managers and Customer Service VAs for Irish e-commerce brands.
We’re familiar with Irish business norms — Revenue, CRO filings, EUR vs GBP, and the rhythm of Irish professional life.

[vac_faq title=”Ireland Virtual Assistants — FAQ”]
[q]Can VAConnect invoice in EUR?[/q]
[a]Yes — on request. Our default contractual currency is GBP but we can invoice in EUR for Irish entities. The EUR rate is fixed at proposal time and reset annually.[/a]
[q]Will my Irish VA understand Revenue & CRO filings?[/q]
[a]Yes — at the practical level. EVAs supporting Irish founders are briefed on Revenue.ie filings, CRO annual returns, ROI tax cycles and the rhythm of Irish professional services. For specialist tax or audit work we’d recommend pairing the VA with your Irish accountant — your VA owns the calendar and the comms.[/a]
[q]Are your VAs comfortable with Irish English?[/q]
[a]Yes. South African and Irish English share more cadence than either does with American English. Our VAs adopt your house tone of voice within the first 2–3 weeks of feedback.[/a]
[q]Do you support EU GDPR (not just UK GDPR)?[/q]
[a]Yes. EU GDPR and UK GDPR are substantively aligned. We’ll sign your DPA, complete vendor security questionnaires and align with your DPO’s requirements. South Africa’s POPIA is closely aligned with both.[/a]
[q]Will my Irish prospects know my VA isn’t EU-based?[/q]
[a]Most don’t — and we pair customer-facing VAs with an Irish 01 (Dublin) or 021 (Cork) VoIP number where helpful. Calls show as Irish local. Most prospects don’t surface the question.[/a]
[q]Can I get an Irish phone number for my VA?[/q]
[a]Yes. Aircall, RingCentral and GHL provision Irish 01 (Dublin), 021 (Cork), 091 (Galway) and other regional numbers for €1–€3/month.[/a]
[q]How does the cost compare to a Dublin-based hire?[/q]
[a]A Dublin-based EA at €40–€50K base is approximately €56–€68K all-in (PRSI, pension, holiday, sick pay, equipment). A VAConnect Full-Day EVA at €1,135/month is roughly €13,620/year — fully managed. The cost gap is the largest in any of our markets, especially for tech and senior roles.[/a]
[q]Can your developers serve Dublin SaaS scale-ups?[/q]
[a]Yes. Several of our Senior Developers have shipped into Irish SaaS environments. AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, Node.js, Python, React stacks are well within scope. Talk to Karen about your stack on the strategy call.[/a]
